September 24, 2020 9:17 pm| From 8 October 2020 – 4 February 2021 (extended) I present my solo exhibition ‘When Memories Become Dreams’ in the Zuid-Afrikahuis. I made a series of darkroom prints of damaged lantern slides from the collection of the Zuid-Afrikahuis to explore the phenomenon of ‘patina’. The series and accompanying essay were made especially for the edited volume Magic Visions (soon to be published). |
